Welcome to the Internet home of RCAR, the Research Council for Automobile Repairs. Please feel free to look around, or read on for a brief overview of the organization.
RCAR is an international organization that works towards reducing insurance costs by improving automotive damageability, reparability, safety and security.
RCAR members are research centres supported by or with close connections with insurers. Current membership includes 25 centres in 19 countries and five continents.
RCAR provides a networking forum, for the exchange of ideas, and to assist fellow members in their research programmes. RCAR's Secretary General maintains contact among members and other interested individuals and organizations worldwide.
